Frames from the shoot

A bearded man in a dark suit and a blonde woman in a black top and cream pleated skirt sit across from each other at a table under a dusty-rose cloth, the camera looking down its length. Each rests clasped hands on the cloth, which is otherwise bare but for a slim gold object with a round base and a flat disc on top; directly beyond it a large flame burns inside a tall angular dark-framed enclosure. He is turned toward the camera, she is in profile with her gaze lowered. Out of focus around them, a dim dining room: a bare round wooden table holding tall pale candles in candlesticks, cream pleated curtains, orange-lit panels.
Three frames from the film, one above the other: a close-up of a bearded man in a dark jacket looking off to one side; a wide shot of him and a blonde woman seated across from each other at a table crowded with small plates of food, a stemmed glass in front of each and the slim gold stand between them, its column silhouetted against a flame burning inside a tall angular dark enclosure beyond the table; and a close-up of the woman's smiling face, hands clasped under her chin, the gold disc glowing in the foreground. Cream pleated curtains, orange-lit panels and other tables stand in the shadows around them. All three frames are dim and amber-lit.
Three frames from the film, one above the other: a close-up of a clarinettist in a dark suit and tie, eyes closed as he plays; a wide shot of musicians in dark suits — violin, a frame drum with a blue-green head, clarinet, a large flat box-shaped instrument with a row of tuning pegs angled between two seated men, and a fifth man with a pale drum-shaped object across his lap — playing beside a laid table where a bald, white-bearded man in a blue-striped shirt sits with plates of food, a lit candle and small lit table lamps, a dark glass wall with night foliage behind them; and a close-up of a violinist in glasses, his bow on the strings, a blurred field of turquoise and rust behind him. The first two frames show a brick arch and bare brick walls in warm light.
A photograph of a lit screen in a darkened room. On the screen a blonde woman in a pale satin blouse with a darker ruffled front sits in profile with her gaze lowered at a dusty-rose table; on it stand a slim lamp with a glowing flat disc, two small vessels, one of them clear with a metal cap, an upright folded napkin and a low metal dish. At the far edge another person's clasped hands rest on the tabletop, one wrist in a large watch. Behind her a dim interior: an arched opening full of warm yellow lights, and a stack of glowing bars inside a dark angular structure. Above the screen the room itself is visible — a pale wall, a glowing wall light, an air-conditioning unit and dark ceiling beams.
A photograph taken on set: a large monitor in a black case with a recessed handle, FEELWORLD on its lower bezel, fills the lower half of an almost black frame. On its screen a bearded man with folded arms and a blonde woman sit across from each other at a table under a dusty-rose cloth set with plates of food, his gaze lowered toward the fire burning inside a tall black triangular structure at the head of the table; beyond it, tall glazed bays veiled by pale sheers and filled with intense orange light. Around and above the monitor the same dressed room is visible in the dark — the same orange bays, empty tables under pale cloths — with a man whose back is to the camera, a woman facing it, another person further back, one more at the right edge, and two lit light panels, one cool white and one amber.
